Ed Meacham - Founder

Former College football standout and NFL player Ed Meacham started Mr. Ed’s Strength and Conditioning Camp in the summer of 1999. Ed started the camp for the purpose of helping area High School athletes maximize their potential while having a great time! Each summer Ed brings together a select staff made up of area High School athletes. The program has 11 members on staff for each session. This approach has helped the younger kids on staff grow into tomorrow’s leaders.

Ed was a High School baseball, basketball, and football standout at Oneida High School in New York, then was a College standout at Springfield College in Springfield, MA where he won many school, conference, regional and national awards. After College, Ed signed as a free agent with the New England Patriots where he played tight end. Ed currently resides in Sherman with his wife Paula. Their daughter Allee, a former soccer player at Sherman High School is a student at Midwestern State University.
